DC Short Recap

I had a beautiful time in DC which included a wedding, lighting fireworks in an old Georgetown cemetery and eating a great swordfish meal. There is a lot to talk about, but in the meantime here is a photo of Abraham Lincoln and myself at the Lincoln Memorial...


This was such a special moment, Lincoln is definitely my favorite president and it was also great visiting the Smithsonian Museum of American History and seeing the Lincoln exhibit, which included the actual top hat he was wearing when he was shot to death by Booth...



I'll write a proper post when I'm not bombarded with research I must do for a history project I'm working on.
